Job summary

Lancesoft Indonesia is seeking an experienced Category Buyer to join the procurement team in a fully remote role. You will develop sourcing strategies for assigned categories, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings and supply chain optimization.

The ideal candidate has proven category sourcing experience, strong negotiation and market analysis skills, and proficiency with procurement software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Category Buyer or in a strategic sourcing role.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and market research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category sourcing strategies for assigned spend areas.
• Conduct market analysis to identify supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and potential risks.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, cost reduction, and process improvements within assigned categories.
