Job summary

Alignerr Corp. in Jakarta is seeking experienced Back End Developers to design, build, and optimize the server-side systems and APIs powering cutting-edge AI products. You will work on data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices capable of handling real-world traffic at scale.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with flexible hours (10–40 hours/week). Jakarta is highlighted as a tech hub, and you will join a team of engineers, researchers, and product leads

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more back end languages with solid API design experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiar with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Comfortable with cloud platforms and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI training and inference.
• Write clean, tested code following engineering best practices.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
