Job summary

Arest is seeking a creative and technically proficient Remote Aircraft Interior Design Engineer to advance cabin interiors for commercial aircraft. Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Six+ years of professional experience in aircraft interior design or closely related field.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Alias) and rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of aircraft cabin systems, ergonomics, and human factors.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations pertaining to cabin interiors and materials.
• Excellent visual communication skills for remote presentation of designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative interior design concepts for aircraft cabins (seating, galleys, lavatories, passenger amenities).
• Create detailed 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings using CAD and design software.
• Collaborate with clients, managers, and manufacturing partners via virtual channels.
• Ensure designs comply with aviation regulations and material certifications.
• Conduct design reviews and present proposals to stakeholders.
• Research and specify materials and furnishings meeting performance, aesthetic, and budget needs.
