Job summary

Tripledot Studios in Jakarta is seeking a skilled 3D Artist to create live game environment props and assets. You will adapt to art styles and deliver high-quality work on schedule.

You will collaborate with Lead Artist and Art Director, learn new tools quickly, and mentor junior artists while contributing to a growing, data-driven studio with hybrid working and global projects. A strong portfolio and proficiency in Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Photoshop are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing examples of 3D props and environment.
• Excellent 3D experience in Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage.
• Good knowledge of Photoshop and texture creation
• Good basic art skills in art fundamentals (colour composition and form)
• Passionate about games
• Unity experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Produce models and textures of 3D environment props, objects, and scenes for the game engine
• Understand and follow art requirements and specific needs of the project
• Promptly learn any new tools or techniques
• Execute tasks assigned to them according to the project schedule while meeting quality expectations
• Use checklists to perform initial art and technical quality checks before sending art assets to the Team Leader for review
• Fix all problems noted by the Team Leader and Art Director
• Promptly report to the Team Leader about any difficulties encountered
• Support Junior Artists, helping them to deal with tasks when needed
