Job summary

Michelin Indonesia is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Method Engineer in Cikarang, West Java, to strengthen maintenance strategies and reliability across our plants. You will define machine standards for TEC, improve reliability, and support maintenance actions at levels 1 and 2.

Fresh graduates or those with up to 3 years of experience will join a dynamic team in a global brand focused on sustainable engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Fresh graduate or up to 3 years in maintenance strategy, reliability, or process improvement.
Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems and practices.
Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, drive, and PLC systems.
Good data analysis and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
Interest in reliability engineering and obsolescence management.
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Define and improve the standards of machines applicable to the TEC function for all areas in SMQDC.
Improve reliability and ensure equipment durability following the defined maintenance strategy, including criticality.
Train and propagate knowledge and competency for maintenance actions of level 1 and level 2.
