Job summary

TENGY KOSMETIK INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Regulatory Officer to manage DIP, BPOM registrations, and regulatory compliance for local and imported cosmetics. You will review formulas, labels, and data while ensuring all materials meet regulatory standards.

The role requires collaboration with R&D, QA/QC, production, marketing, purchasing, and contract manufacturers, plus handling audits and keeping up with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 bachelor degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or related field.
• Experience as Regulatory Officer in cosmetic manufacturing is preferred.
• Proficient in BPOM registration/notification processes.
• Ability to independently prepare and evaluate DIP documentation.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic regulations and labeling requirements.
• Able to read technical documents such as formulas, COA, and MSDS/SDS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compile, update, and control DIP according to BPOM regulations.
• Conduct registration/notification of local and imported cosmetic products through the BPOM system.
• Examine formula, specifications, claims, artwork, labels, and product supporting data.
• Ensure raw materials, ingredient levels, claims, and labelling comply with cosmetic regulations.
• Prepare legal documents, technical data, manufacturing methods, specifications, COA, and product safety reports.
• Coordinate with R&D, QA/QC, Production, Marketing, Purchasing, and contract manufacturers/principals.
• Monitor notification validity periods and manage data changes, variations, and re-registration.
• Prepare documents and provide support during BPOM audits or inspections.
• Monitor developments in cosmetic regulations and communicate changes to relevant departments.
• Maintain product database and report registration progress and DIP completeness.

About you

Required experience as Regulatory Officer in cosmetic manufacturing company

Minimum 2 years experience in cosmetic regulatory field

Able to independently prepare and evaluate DIP

Understand cosmetic registration/notification through BPOM system

Master regulations on formula, cosmetic ingredients, claims, labelling, and artwork

Able to read technical documents such as formula, COA, MSDS/SDS, specifications, and manufacturing methods

Detail-oriented, communicative, systematic, and able to work to deadlines

Able to use Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
