Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an on-site adviser to strengthen project execution across Asia Pacific & China. You will work with project managers, site managers, and contractors to improve safety, quality, and discipline on active construction sites.

You will help optimize tender inputs and provide practical, hands-on guidance to resolve issues while promoting EHS excellence and disciplined documentation. The role emphasizes collaboration with regional governance, travel across the region, and daily

Qualifications

• Hands-on site execution and management across energy, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of EHS and Quality Management principles translated to daily practice.
• Ability to advise, coach, and influence site teams and contractors without direct authority.
• Experience with civil works and electrical installation on complex sites.
• Experience in Asia Pacific & China regions with regional differences awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site advisory support to project and site teams during execution, focusing on civil and electrical activities.
• Coach site managers on planning, contractor coordination, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
• Assess and improve contractor performance, including productivity and workmanship quality.
• Support tender teams in optimizing bids and supplier selections.
• Act as a troubleshooter to analyze challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Reinforce EHS excellence and implement preventive actions on site.
• Support quality management, including inspection readiness and documentation discipline.
• Identify recurring issues and share lessons learned with regional governance.
• Escalate critical risks through regional governance channels when needed.
• Support adoption of global/regional project execution standards at site level.
• Serve as sparring partner for project managers and site leadership without replacing line management.
