Job summary

ZTE Indonesia is seeking a Regional O&M Manager to supervise regional operations and lead the Field Maintenance Team to maintain network uptime. You will oversee daily activities, ensure KPI/SLA targets are met, and coordinate with subcontractors and field engineers to resolve issues on time.

The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and the ability to drive continuous improvements in network reliability and O&M efficiency across multiple sites and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, network O&M, Wireless O&M, or related fields.
• Experience in regional/team management, preferably in a large-scale MS or telecom O&M project.
• Strong knowledge of Wireless Network, RAN, site maintenance, fault management, and network performance monitoring.
• Experience managing subcontractors, field maintenance teams, and regional O&M activities.
• Strong understanding of KPI/SLA management, site acceptance, handover, preventive maintenance, and quality inspection.
• Experience in customer coordination and handling technical issues with customer field engineers.
• Familiarity with hardware feature evaluation and system configuration management is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Strong ability to analyze network issues and drive RCA and continuous improvement.
• Good command of English; Mandarin is preferred for communication with Chinese management/customer teams.
• Able to work under pressure and support emergency response and regional O&M operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise regional O&M operations, ensuring daily activities are completed effectively and in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure regional KPI and SLA performance meet or exceed the targets stipulated in the contract.
• Lead and supervise the Field Maintenance Team in carrying out daily maintenance and operational activities.
• Conduct network quality inspections, including network status analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and identification of improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and manage the performance of subcontractor maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with project standards and SLA requirements.
• Plan and coordinate routine site inspections and preventive maintenance activities for subcontractors.
• Represent the MS team in coordinating with the Project Team on site acceptance and handover issues.
• Manage new site acceptance and handover to the MS O&M team, ensuring all requirements and documentation are completed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the regional O&M team and subcontractors.
• Conduct technical and maintenance training for subcontractor teams to improve their technical capability and work quality.
• Review and verify O&M reports, maintenance records, and regional performance reports.
• Act as the key interface with customer field engineers regarding technical issues, maintenance activities, and site operations.
• Support hardware feature evaluation and system configuration management to ensure network stability and proper configuration.
• Manage and supervise back-office operations, ensuring effective coordination between field and back-office teams.
• Prepare regular regional operation, KPI, SLA, risk, and improvement reports and report project status to the FOC Manager / MS Project Manager.
• Identify operational risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities to continuously enhance network reliability and O&M efficiency.
