Middleton by EtonHouse Preschool Surabaya seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to nurture and inspire children aged 2–6 in a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment. You will design engaging, inquiry-based activities and document learning progress with portfolios.

You bring a Bachelor's in ECE and 2–5 years of preschool teaching experience, with excellent English communication, teamwork, and a passion for holistic child development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or college (minimum three years of full-time study).
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in early childhood education.
• Experience working with children aged 2–6 years in a preschool or early learning environment.
• Relevant teaching certifications or professional accreditation where applicable.
• Good understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Knowledge of inquiry-based learning and the Reggio Emilia approach, or a strong willingness to learn and implement its principles.
• Ability to design and implement engaging, meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Experience in observing, documenting and assessing children's learning and development.
• Ability to create an inspiring, stimulating and well-organised classroom environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Passionate about working with young children and committed to their holistic development.
• Patient, nurturing, creative and enthusiastic.
• Strong classroom management, organisation and time-management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Positive attitude, adaptability and willingness to learn.
• Professional, responsible and able to demonstrate initiative.
• International teaching experience, particularly in Asia.
• Previous experience in Reggio Emilia-inspired or inquiry-based schools.
• Experience in parent communication and building positive relationships with families.
• Experience in learning documentation, portfolio development and curriculum planning.
