Yayasan Edukasi Allia (Middleton by EtonHouse Pre-School Surabaya) is seeking an Early Childhood Educator based in Surabaya to develop and deliver child-centered learning activities, using varied teaching methods to ensure high-quality learning.

You will document learning objectives, collaborate with the Pre-school Director, manage a tidy classroom, build strong links with parents, and support events and online learning transitions when required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the preparation, planning and delivery of child-centered learning activities
• Use a variety of appropriate teaching and caring methods to ensure high quality learning takes place
• Provide planning documents identifying specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks, special needs, extension and assessment
• Be a facilitator in the classroom and take an interactive role with children, encouraging pride and respect
• Manage classroom resources, keep a tidy, well-organised room
• Create an interesting and lively classroom promoting independent learning and aesthetics
• Collaborate with Pre-school Director and staff on pupil assessment procedures and moderation portfolios
• Keep appropriate records of achievement for each child and provide reports
• Build positive links with parents through various channels and coordinate parent meetings
• Guide and monitor classroom helpers in their tasks
• Participate in the PPP (primary preparation program) for Kindergarten students
• Complete documentation on time according to the Termly School Housekeeping Calendar
• Participate as a committee for school events
• Strive to achieve learning goals and complete internal checklists
• Maintain a safe, secure and supportive environment for all children
• Lead 2 classes during hybrid/online learning when required
• Lead two classes or sessions depending on numbers
• Documentation for online learning may require changes but remains to be completed
• If Work From Home applies, hours to be completed as per agreement
• One-to-one classes during online learning period
• Planning and execution of events (max 2 per term)
• Mandatory attendance at scheduled meetings
