Job summary

PT. Achivon Prestasi Abadi in Indonesia is seeking a senior Refrigeration/HVAC engineer to design, size, and implement industrial refrigeration systems, including chillers, compressors, and cold storage solutions, meeting project requirements and safety standards.

You will perform technical calculations, prepare reports and drawings, read schematics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, energy-efficient systems and seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Refrigeration Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in refrigeration or HVAC.
• Proficient in the design and analysis of refrigerant systems with relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of compressors, chillers, and cooling equipment.
• Reading drawings, schematics, and codes.
• Good problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment and systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a refrigeration or HVAC.
• Proficient in the design and analysis of Refrigerant systems, including the use of relevant software tools.
• Strong knowledge of design and operate refrigeration systems, compressors, chillers, and cooling equipment.
• Experience in chiller, cold storage, or industrial refrigeration is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of PLC and control systems is a plus.
• Able to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
