Job summary

PT Global Way Indonesia in East Java is seeking an experienced Research & Development Assistant Manager to lead product development initiatives from concept to mass production. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design, or related field, with 5-8 years in R&D, preferably in sport industry or apparel manufacturing, and strong English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in R&D/product development, preferably in sport industry, footwear, apparel, or garment manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with international customers/brands is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and technical skills.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products based on customer requirements, market trends, technical specifications, and company capabilities.
• Coordinate product development from initial concept through prototype, testing, trial production, and mass production.
• Work closely with Design, Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments during the development process.
• Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for improvement in quality, functionality, durability, and cost.
• Review technical specifications, samples, materials, and production processes.
• Willing to be placed in Madiun.
