Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia (Matcha Talent) is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead end-to-end development of sports nutrition and health supplements. You will oversee formulation, lab operations, and scale-up, driving innovation and cost efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the CEO, you will manage the R&D team, optimize COGS, and advance product portfolios in a fast-growing Indonesian market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or related science.
• 5+ years in R&D within dietary supplements, sports nutrition, nutraceuticals, or functional foods.
• 2–3 years of managerial experience leading R&D teams and multiple product projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end R&D projects from concept to commercial launch.
• Develop formulations across powders, capsules, tablets, stick packs, and RTD products.
• Manage lab and pilot-scale trials; supervise tech transfers to manufacturing.
• Optimize formulations for COGS and profitability; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop the R&D team; establish KPIs and development plans.
