Job summary

Jhpiego Inc. seeks a Quality Improvement (QI) Officer to support a UNFPA-funded program in West Java (Cianjur) and Central Java (Banyumas). The role delivers technical assistance, coordinates QI activities, manages data, and supports documentation at district and provincial levels.

The candidate will work with the QI Specialist and M&E teams, ensure timely reporting, and engage health facilities to sustain QI efforts. Strong English and Bahasa Indonesia, plus field travel, are required.

Qualifications

• Clinical background in MNCH (GP, midwife, nurse) or public health.
• Minimum 5 years in MNCH technical area.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong writing and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia health system and key MNCH stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate QI Collaborative activities across districts; prepare learning sessions and coaching visits.
• Provide technical assistance to hospitals and Puskesmas and district stakeholders in QI implementation.
• Support data collection, entry, and preliminary analysis of QI indicators.
• Document QI activities, reports, and success stories; ensure timely activity reporting.
• Prepare TORs and materials for meetings and provincial events; support scale-up of QI initiatives.
