Job summary

PT Simatelex Manufactory Batam seeks a project transfer engineer to support technical handling across mechanical, electrical or instrumental domains. You will help define scope, milestones and deliverables, and develop timelines for project phases.

You will administer project files, prepare calculations and procedures, and assist in checking drawings and fixtures for Critical Items readiness, while coordinating costs and resources with annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma degree in technical major or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Quality Engineering of mechanical, electrical, or instrumental field.
• Proficient in the use of quality tools analysis, such as Minitab and Microsoft software.
• Experienced in developing technical proposals, deliverables, and work procedures.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Able to communicate in Mandarin (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Support technical handling in new project transfer.
• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive timelines and schedules outlining project phases, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Administer assigned project files.
• Prepare calculations and work procedures in support of projects.
• Assist in checking MSA, engineering drawings, machines, gauges and fixtures to ensure they are qualified with Critical Items (CI).
• Develop cost, time and resource schedules for assigned projects in line with annual department budgets.
• Create and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and address unforeseen issues.
