We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our Software Solutions team for 6 months. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our mobile applications and digital health solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience in software quality assurance, testing methodologies, and Agile software development while contributing to products used by thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS) to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools such as Jira.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before product releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Test new features, enhancements, and application updates across different devices and operating systems.
- Validate application performance, usability, and user experience.
- Assist in preparing test reports and documenting testing results.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Contribute ideas to improve software quality and QA processes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, international team environment.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Exposure to API testing, Postman, or mobile testing tools is an advantage.
- Interest in mobile applications, wearable devices, IoT, or digital health technologies is an advantage.
