Job summary

PT. Surya TOTO Indonesia Tbk in Tangerang region is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with a metallurgical engineering background to uphold product quality throughout production. The role requires hands-on auditing, implementation of QC tools, and adherence to international quality standards.

You will lead inspection activities, train staff on 5S/5R and OHS/HSE practices, and ensure non-conforming products are held or rejected appropriately. Willing to be stationed in Serpong-Tangerang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering with GPA ≥ 3.30.
• 1–2 years of related experience or internship.
• Knowledge of international quality management systems and standards.
• Experience in field/internal audits and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inspection team to ensure the production process meets quality standards.
• Oversee the inspection process, prevent defects, analyze production results, and distribute daily tasks to field staff.

• Min. 1-2 years of working experience or internship in the same field.
• Strong knowledge of international quality management systems and standards.
• Experience in field audits and/or internal auditing.
• Proficient in the application of the 7 QC Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Calibration & Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and 8D/Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) methodologies.
• Understanding of non-conforming product management, including hold and reject procedures.
• Experience in conducting quality awareness training and implementing 5S/5R and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/HSE) practices.
• Willing to be placed in Serpong- Tangerang.
