Konstruksi is seeking a detail-oriented QC Engineer to join the Bali team. The role focuses on implementing rigorous quality control, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications to uphold high standards across construction projects.

You will develop QC plans, perform on-site testing, document findings, and train site staff in quality procedures, contributing to project success and safety compliance.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in quality control/assurance within construction.
• Knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and quality standards for civil projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control plans for construction projects, including testing protocols and inspection schedules.
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and safety issues, documenting findings in detailed reports.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Perform on-site testing and sampling of materials (concrete, steel, aggregates, etc.).
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and databases to track inspection results and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to building codes, regulations, and industry standards across all phases.
• Prepare QA reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and prevent delays.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions with site staff on quality procedures.

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Engineer to join the Konstruksi team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all construction projects. As QC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Your work will directly impact the success and reputation of our construction projects, making this a strategically important position within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
• Developing and implementing quality control plans for construction projects, including testing protocols and inspection schedules
• Identifying defects, non-conformances, and safety issues, and documenting findings in detailed reports
• Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Performing on-site testing and sampling of materials, including concrete, steel, aggregates, and other construction components
• Maintaining comprehensive quality documentation, records, and databases to track inspection results and project compliance
• Ensuring adherence to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout all construction phases
• Preparing quality assurance reports and presenting findings to project stakeholders
• Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and prevent quality-related delays
• Conducting training and awareness sessions with site staff regarding quality standards and procedures

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in quality control or quality assurance within the construction industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and quality standards relevant to civil engineering projects
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and testing instruments
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with quality management software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections simultaneously
• Physical capability to conduct site inspections and work in various weather conditions
• Reliability and a strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is advantageous
• Previous experience on construction projects in the Southeast Asian region would be beneficial
