Job summary

PT Winnersumbiri Knitting Factory in Tangerang, Indonesia seeks a skilled Colorist in textile dyeing with at least 3 years of experience. The candidate will evaluate and correct color shades, work with Lab and production teams, and ensure color accuracy across dyeing and finishing stages.

The role requires a strong knowledge of color theory, metamerism, and dyeing chemistry, plus fluent English and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Textile Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years as colorist in textile dyeing.
• Fluent in English (speaking and written).
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong understanding of color theory, hue, value, chroma, metamerism.
• Knowledge in Muncel, Spectrophotometer.
• Understands D65, CWF, TL83, TL84, A, U3500, UV and metamerism.
• Communicates with Lab, Dyeing, Finishing, merchandising and customers.
• Able to work under pressure, fast learner.
• Good communication, analytical thinking, integrity and detail oriented.

Job description

Bachelor Degree of Chemical Engineering / Textile chemistry.

Have Experience min. 3 years as colorist level in textile dyeing.

Fluent in English (Speaking and written).

Proficient with MS. Office.

Strong understanding of color theory, hue, value, chroma, metamerism and can explain if color shade is off.

Have Knowledge in Muncel, Spectrophotometer,

Understands D65, CWF, TL83, TL84, A, U3500, UV and metamerism.

Understands basic dyeing process and relationship between dye concentration, temperature, pH, time and leveling.

Can communicate clearly with Lab, Dyeing, Finishing, merchandising and customers.

Can work underpresure, fast learning.

Have good skills in communication, analytical thinking, high integrity and detail oriented.
