Job summary

JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to supervise QA activities across production processes in Jakarta Barat. The role ensures GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and SSOP adherence, and leads CAPA, audits, and documentation to sustain high food safety standards.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in related fields and at least 3 years in QA, with supervisory experience. Strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Food Technology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in food manufacturing / FMCG / food processing industry.
• Mandatory experience in a supervisory role or experience leading a QA team.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SSOP, Food Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
• Familiar with Halal, BPOM, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or other relevant food safety standards is highly preferred.
• Experienced in handling internal/external audits, non-conformities, CAPA, and quality documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Quality Assurance activities across production processes.
• Ensure implementation of GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and Food Safety Management System in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality and food safety requirements.
• Lead investigation of quality deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate and follow up on CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) implementation.
• Conduct and support internal audits, external audits, and customer audits.
• Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of QA documentation, procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
• Monitor product quality through inspection, verification, and process monitoring activities.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, R&D, Warehouse, Engineering, and other related departments to resolve quality and food safety issues.
• Prepare and analyze periodic QA and food safety reports for management.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate QA team members to ensure effective execution of quality activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, food safety, and process compliance.
