Job summary

PT Epiterma Mas Indonesia is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to perform meticulous inspections on civil and structural works in busy project environments. You will verify conformance to drawings, specs, and ITPs, ensuring timely NCR handling and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years in construction QC, including heavy industrial projects, and can read complex drawings. Site placement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in construction projects; minimum 3 years in Civil/Structural QA or QC.
• Experience in mining, industrial plants, smelters, power plants, or similar heavy construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, formwork, reinforcement, equipment foundations, structural steel erection, anchor bolts, embedded items, and grouting.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, foundation, and reinforcement drawings.
• Familiarity with Inspection and Test Plans, Requests for Inspection, Non-Conformance Reports, and concrete testing requirements.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC codes and standards including ISO 9001, ACI, ASTM, AISC, AWS D1.1 and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections for civil and structural works based on approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs.
• Inspect formwork, reinforcement, anchor bolts, embedded items, concrete works, and equipment foundations before pouring.
• Inspect structural steel erection: alignment, level, base plates, bolted connections, and grouting.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, alignment, and tolerances with Survey/Construction teams.
• Prepare and coordinate Requests for Inspection with Client/Consultant.
• Identify non-conforming work, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain inspection records, concrete test reports, checklists, and QC documentation.
• Support punch-list inspection and final handover activities.

Job description

• Inspect structural steel erection, including alignment, level, base plates, bolted connections, and grouting
• Verify dimensions, elevations, alignment, and construction tolerances with the Survey and Construction teams

About you

• Able to work actively on site and coordinate effectively with Construction, Engineering, Survey, Client, and Consultant teams
• Willing to be placed in site
