PT Preformed Line Products Indonesia is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Manager to lead a QC team in Bekasi MM2100, ensuring product conformity and driving continuous improvement.

You will oversee QC processes, material flow, 8D problem solving, SPC, ISO standards, and collaboration with internal teams; proficiency in ERP/ Epicor and Excel is preferred.

• 3–5 years in Quality Control with supervisory experience.

Lead and manage the Quality Control function for an automotive manufacturing operation in Bekasi MM2100. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, resolving quality issues, coordinating QC activities, and driving continuous improvement across the team and production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Quality Control team of 5-15 members.
• Oversee Quality Control processes, material flow, and quality activities across operations.
• Handle and resolve quality issues using the 8D Report methodology.
• Apply the 7 QC Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and root cause analysis to identify and prevent quality problems.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer standards to ensure product conformity.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Use MRP and ERP systems, including Epicor, to support quality-related processes and reporting.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
• Prepare quality reports, communicate findings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support internal audits and maintain effective quality documentation.

What we're looking for

• Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading and managing QC teams.
• Experience handling quality issues using the 8D Report methodology.
• Strong understanding of Quality Control processes, material flow, and MRP systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and customer standards.
• Knowledge of the 7 QC Tools, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP or Epicor systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
• Automotive industry experience and internal Quality Auditor certification are advantageous.
• Willingness to work in Bekasi MM2100 and available to join as soon as possible.
