Kredivo Group is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead a QA tribe focused on mobile and API testing, shaping testing strategies, and improving engineering efficiency. You will guide multiple squads, drive automation adoption, and ensure production readiness with robust quality metrics.

You will mentor QA & SEIT engineers, collaborate with developers and product managers, and influence roadmap decisions. Strong leadership, hands-on testing expertise, and a passion for quality are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of industry experience
• Experience leading medium to large teams
• Experience with test automation frameworks for Web, mobile or API using modern tech like Postman, Rest-Assured, Appium, Selenium
• Strong in one frontier language such as Python, Java, Go

Job description

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager with a robust background in Mobile and API, proficient in modern testing technologies, test automation frameworks and strategies to influence overall engineering efficiency and a strong inclination towards maintaining a high-quality standard. The ideal candidate will lead a tribe consisting of multiple squads ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and accuracy of our products while implementing and maintaining comprehensive testing strategies.

About the Job:

• We are looking for someone to take full ownership of the quality charter for a tribe at Kredivo Group.
• Guide and mentor a team of QA & SEIT engineers, offering technical expertise, and direction, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Enhance the testing process by proposing and implementing short term and long terms improvements
• Create, implement, enhance comprehensive test strategies, automation frameworks, and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables.
• Develop and implement quality criteria to assess and drive readiness of software for production deployment.
• Manage the validation phases of the project, which involves overseeing tasks and progress, and providing regular reports to leadership.
• Participate in root cause analysis of complex issues and incidents, collaborating with the developers and product managers to resolve problems and improve overall product quality.
• Establish key metrics to measure and report on the quality of software products and the effectiveness of testing.
• Work with and guide cross-functional teams including test platform teams to understand software quality requirements and develop effective test strategies.
• Lead and manage at least 5 to 10 QA Engineers that includes Leads and SEITs
• Collaborate with HOEs and HOPs towards roadmap and timelines alignments, effort estimates and automation strategies
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and QA/testing best practices, leveraging this knowledge to consistently enhance testing processes.

About you:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science with 8 to 12 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in leading and building medium to large size teams
• Experience with test automation frameworks in Web, mobile or API using any modern technologies and frameworks like Postman / Rest-Assured / Appium / Karate / Selenium.
• Strong in at least one of the frontier programming languages like python, java, Go
• Experience working on backend / web / android / iOS applications
• Proven management experience with participation in creating goals/OKRs for teams and individuals, performance feedback and appraisal process and data driven quality metrics.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Manage QA metrics, prepare reports and present to stakeholders
• Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
