Job summary

PaxOcean in Batam, Indonesia seeks a Project Quality professional to lead quality activities, ensuring inspections, testing, welding documentation, and records comply with project specs and Class requirements.

The role collaborates with Clients, Class, third-party inspectors, ship superintendents, and internal teams to maintain the Project Quality Plan, ITP, NCR/CAR follow-up, and QMS compliance, while upholding safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in engineering or science.
• 5 years of inspection experience in shipyard/oil & gas.
• Familiar with Classification societies & relevant standards.
• Conversant with inspection and testing techniques and standards.
• Strong English communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Classification societies and inspection agencies to ensure compliance.
• Prepare Project Quality Plan and ITP per project specs and Class requirements.
• Ensure ITP is followed and inspections/tests are timely.
• Maintain NCR/OR and CAR/PAR with close-out actions.
• Assist auditors during internal/external audits.
• Participate in ISO9001 management reviews and company policy adherence.
