Job summary

PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking a Software QA Engineer in Jakarta to design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans for our software applications and systems. You will perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing, document defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements.

You will contribute to test automation efforts using Cypress or Playwright, write automated scripts, maintain detailed test

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium or UFT.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques including functional, regression and UAT.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar defect tracking tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and good communication in English and Indonesian.
• ISTQB or similar certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications and systems.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing; document defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Automate tests using Cypress/Playwright and other industry-standard tools; contribute to test scripts development.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure resolution meets quality standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers and stakeholders to clarify test scenarios.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports and quality metrics; perform performance and load testing when required.
• Identify process improvements and recommend enhancements to testing methodologies.
