Job summary

Qoala in Jakarta seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to test products and processes, ensuring they meet quality standards. You will act as an auditor for internal systems, identify issues, and recommend solutions, drawing on your degree in engineering or quality assurance and strong attention to detail.

The role also involves developing and executing test plans, automating frontend and backend tests, and collaborating with developers and product managers to guarantee reliable releases

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as SQA/QA Engineer/QA Analyst/IT Tester.
• Strong problem solving, task management and analytical thinking.
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development process.
• Familiar with testing methodologies (test cases, use cases, test plan, execute test).
• Knowledge or experience with Selenium automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python scripting.
• Experience testing web, Android and iOS applications.
• Experience with API testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality products that will be released rapidly yet confidently.
• Tackle unique testability challenges of a product or feature.
• Automate our tests for frontend and backend.
• Create, update, and maintain all test documentation for each product release.
• Act as an intermediary between the developer and the product manager.
• Act as a gatekeeper before the product is released to the user.
