Job summary

PT IDStar Cipta Teknologi in Jakarta is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon for web and API testing. You will execute automated and manual testing to ensure software quality across functional, regression, and integration scopes.

The role requires 2–4 years of QA experience, a Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field, strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as QA Automation / Software Tester.
• Hands-on experience using Katalon for automation testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience in functional, regression, and API testing.
• Familiar with bug tracking tools and test management processes.
• Able to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Willing to work Full WFO (Work From Office).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon for web and API testing.
• Execute automated and manual testing to ensure software quality across functional, regression, and integration scopes.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with Developers and Product Teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Perform API testing and validate backend services.
• Participate in requirement reviews to provide QA perspective early in development cycles.
• Support SIT and UAT phases, including defect tracking and retesting.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
