Job summary

PT Rapid Teknologi Indonesia is seeking a QA Tester to create and execute test cases, perform functional, regression and UAT testing, and identify defects. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and business users to resolve issues, with a focus on API testing and basic SQL validation as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of manual QA experience and knowledge of SDLC/STLC, test case processes, and QA documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Manual QA / Software Testing.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Good knowledge of test case and bug-reporting processes.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
• Basic API testing knowledge using Postman is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business users to resolve issues.
• Perform API testing and basic database validation when required.
• Ensure applications meet business and quality requirements.
• Prepare testing reports and maintain QA documentation.
