Job summary

Peoplyee is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement activities, from RFQs to supplier coordination and delivery follow-ups. You will monitor raw materials, prepare forecasts, and maintain accurate records to support production needs.

This temporary maternity leave replacement role requires strong Excel skills, clear communication in English, and the ability to work independently within established purchasing processes at our manufacturing site in

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong English written and spoken proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities, including preparing, processing, and following up on RFQs.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor incoming materials to ensure timely delivery and adequate availability.
• Prepare and monitor raw material forecasts based on operational requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding material requirements and purchasing schedules.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documents, and related reports.
• Support daily procurement operations and resolve purchasing-related issues.

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor incoming materials to ensure timely delivery and adequate availability.

Jobs Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in a related field.
• Language: Good written and spoken English proficiency.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience handling Requests for Quotation, incoming materials, and raw material forecasting.
• Familiarity with supplier coordination, quotation comparisons, and purchase order processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, particularly Excel for purchasing reports and data analysis.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, organized, and equipped with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to established purchasing processes.
• Willingness to work under a temporary maternity leave replacement contract.
