Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Public Policy Associate Manager to drive our policy programs and strategy in Indonesia on a wide range of technological issues from infrastructure and AI to safety and integrity.

As Public Policy Associate Manager, you will join the Meta Policy Team in APAC to shape the policy discourse with stakeholders inside and outside of the government through direct engagements and programmatic partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, law, government, technology, or related fields.
• Proven understanding of Indonesia policy landscape and engagement with policy stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive public policy programs and strategy for Indonesia across infrastructure, AI, safety and integrity.
• Engage with government officials and stakeholders to shape policy objectives.
• Advise internal teams on public policy implications of Meta products and wider positions.

Meta is seeking an experienced professional to drive our public policy programs and strategy in Indonesia on a wide range of technological issues from infrastructure and AI to safety and integrity. As Public Policy Associate Manager, you will join the Meta Policy Team in APAC to shape the policy discourse with stakeholders inside and outside of the government through direct engagements and programmatic partnerships. You will also advise our internal teams on the public policy implications of our products and wider positions as a company, working with a cross-functional global team.

• 5+ years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, law, government, technology, or related fields Demonstrated understanding of the policy landscape in Indonesia Proven experience in engaging policy stakeholders and supporting implementation of policy strategies that balance technological advancement and regulatory requirements
• Professional working proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required because the role involves engaging government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders in Indonesia and coordinating with global teams
• Demonstrated track record of project management, partner management and collaborating in cross functional teams
• Experience prioritizing high-priority projects simultaneously Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated experience engaging with an established network of government and non-government stakeholders to drive policy objectives
• Experience in digital technology policy in a multinational environment
