• Strong knowledge of telecommunication technologies, network infrastructure, and IT systems architecture.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or JIRA.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate with clients, executives, and technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Indonesian or Mandarin advantageous.

About the role

Gluck International Corp is seeking an experienced Project Manager specialising in Telecommunication & IT Infrastructure to join our team on a contract basis. This is a strategic position based in Jakarta, where you will oversee complex telecommunication and IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications, directly contributing to the success of our clients' digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Plan, initiate, and execute telecommunication and IT infrastructure projects from conception through to completion

Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with client requirements and organisational objectives

Monitor project progress against established KPIs and take corrective action to ensure projects remain on track

Manage project scope, identifying and controlling any changes to prevent scope creep and maintain project integrity

Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and external vendors to deliver project milestones

Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams regarding project status, risks, and issues

Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise potential impacts on delivery

Manage project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and deliverables in compliance with industry standards

Ensure all projects meet health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements

Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future project delivery

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field

Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years specifically managing telecommunication or IT infrastructure projects

Professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent recognised qualification

Demonstrable experience managing projects with budgets exceeding USD 1 million

Strong knowledge of telecommunication technologies, network infrastructure, and IT systems architecture

Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms)

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, executives, and technical teams

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

Experience working in multicultural environments and managing geographically distributed teams

Fluency in English; additional language capabilities (Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the telecommunications sector
