Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Indonesia seeks a Project Technical Lead Engineer to helm the technical execution of Automation and Communication projects from initiation to close-out.

You will translate customer requirements into capable technical solutions, plan and coordinate engineering tasks, review detailed deliverables, and support testing, installation, commissioning, and handover with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, automation, communication, power systems or a related field.
• Typically 10–15+ years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably in power, automation, communication or infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, ownership, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Good working knowledge of common office and collaboration tools.

The Opportunity

You’ll be leading the technical engineering execution of Automation and Communication projects, acting as the Project Technical Lead Engineer for assigned projects. Translating customer requirements and contract specifications into a clear, cost-effective Hitachi Energy technical solution concept; planning and coordinating engineering tasks; review detailed engineering deliverables; support testing, FAT, installation, commissioning, SAT, as-built documentation and project close-out feedback. Ensuring that technical quality, safety, customer acceptance, cost, schedule, risk and contractual technical requirements are managed throughout the full project lifecycle.
