Job summary
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to drive the technical execution of Automation and Communication projects from initiation to close-out. You will translate customer requirements into cost-effective solutions and coordinate engineering activities across teams, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
The role requires an engineering degree with 10–15+ years’ experience in related fields, strong communication, and hands-on support for testing, FAT, installation, and site
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in electrical, automation, or related field.
- 10–15+ years in project engineering within power, automation, or infra projects.
- Strong ability to review tech documents and drive closure.
- Excellent communication, ownership and problem solving.
- Knowledge of office and collaboration tools; training provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical execution of Automation & Communication projects from start to finish.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate engineering design activities and review deliverables.
- Support testing, commissioning, site activities and acceptance processes.
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues, changes, and actions.
- Ensure accurate documentation, handover, and lessons learned.
