Job summary

Plan International is seeking a Project Finance Officer to oversee financial functions within the Program Management Unit, ensuring donor compliance, timely reporting, and robust financial controls. You will partner with multiple teams to support project implementation and safeguard funding integrity.

Based in Jakarta or Kupang, the role requires collaboration with Program, Grants, SCM, and P&C teams, and provides financial guidance to local Implementation Partners while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in international organizations or donor-funded programs.
• Strong English communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; SAP experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial operations: payments, disbursement, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in line with donor requirements.
• Monitor financial management of Implementation Partners (IPs): fund utilization, advances/liquidations, reporting and compliance.
• Support planning, budgeting, monitoring, audits, risk management and project closure with accurate records.
• Ensure adherence to Plan International policies on safeguarding, GESI, and Code of Conduct within responsibilities.
