Job summary

PT Adecco Personnel Indonesia is seeking a Project Engineer to manage technical execution on large construction sites. You will act as the main link between the Project Manager and site teams, ensuring drawings, specs and schedules are followed while coordinating supervisors and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years on-site experience, strong CAD/MS Project skills, and excellent English communication. This role focuses on delivering projects within scope, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction site supervision or project engineering experience.
• Experience in urban planning or large-scale developments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, technical drawings and site execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project and Excel.

Job description

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing the technical execution of the project, acting as the main link between the Project Manager and the construction site. This role ensures that all construction activities are carried out according to the approved design, technical specifications, schedule and budget, coordinating supervisors, subcontractors and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate with architects, drafters and consultants to ensure clarity of drawings and specifications, and ensure accurate site execution.

Review and interpret technical documentation for site execution.

Ensure all technical solutions are buildable and properly detailed.

Lead day-to-day construction activities on site.

Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors and workforce.

Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Act as the main communication channel between the Project Manager and the site team.

Translate PM directives into actionable instructions for supervisors.

Report site progress, issues and deviations to the PM.

Implement the project schedule defined by the PM and monitor overall project schedules.

Requirements

Experience in big projects between 1 and 6 hectares, between 20 to 120 villas, so we need people that have experience in big projects

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction site supervision or project engineering.

Experience in urban planning.

Strong understanding of construction methods, technical drawings and site execution.

Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Knowledge of project scheduling, quality control and safety standards.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel and related software.

Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
