Job summary

Arbeit in Indonesia seeks a Project Engineer to support an enterprise Data Center program in Cikarang, West Java. You will manage engineering activities from planning through execution and completion, coordinating with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal engineering teams onsite.

The successful candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in engineering/project

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering/project execution.
• Experience on Data Center projects preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities for data center projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Monitor site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate across Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, CSA, and other MEP systems.
• Identify technical issues, provide solutions, and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with applicable safety, quality, and technical requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate technical discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Project Engineer to support an enterprise Data Center industry. The role involves managing and coordinating engineering activities for data center projects from planning through execution and completion, working onsite in Cikarang, West Java.

Key responsibilities

Manage and coordinate engineering activities for data center projects from planning through execution and completion

Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met

Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and other project documentation

Monitor site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules

Coordinate across multiple disciplines, including Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, CSA, and other MEP systems

Identify technical issues, provide solutions, and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager

Support testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities

Ensure all engineering works comply with applicable safety, quality, and technical requirements

About you

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering/project execution

Experience working on Data Center projects is highly preferred

Strong experience in project engineering, site coordination, and construction activities

Good understanding of MEP systems and data center infrastructure

Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors

Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple project activities

Good command of English, both written and spoken
