Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Data Center Operations professional to lead and supervise the Data Center Engineering Services team, ensuring safe and efficient facility operations in a 24/7 environment. The role focuses on oversight of critical infrastructure, incident response, and vendor coordination.

Requirements include a Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management, 5+ years in data center ops, and strong MEP knowledge, with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 5 years of data center operations and 24/7 facility management experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC/CRAH/CRAC, and power distribution).
• Experience leading teams, incident management, vendor management, and maintenance planning.
• Conversational English required; data center certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed project docs; lead Data Center Engineering Services team.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (electrical, UPS, gens, HVAC, BMS/DCIM).
• Act as escalation point for incidents, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and emergency response.
• Manage vendors, service contracts, maintenance programs, and technical projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, audits, certifications, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, audits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center operations or critical facilities management, with mandatory Data Center experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including switch-gear, UPS, generators, HVAC/CRAH/CRAC, and power distribution systems.
• Experience in team leadership, incident management, vendor management, and maintenance planning within a 24/7 environment.
• Conversational English is required (spoken and written); relevant Data Center certifications are a plus point
