Job summary

Roll Sg Pte Ltd seeks a qualified engineer to prepare project documents, perform on-site support, and track status of ongoing projects in Batam. You will handle manuals, calculations, risk analyses and drawings, while interfacing with clients and MWS to ensure timely, quality delivery.

The role requires a Higher Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering or Maritime Technology and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with a focus on accurate reporting and continuous improvement of tools

Qualifications

• Higher Vocational Education (Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for execution of projects independently (e.g., transport manuals, calculations, task risk analysis, drawings) and assist with client and interface.
• Assist with on-site execution of projects when required.
• Report and track project status, ensuring accurate time registration of change hours and scope variations.
• Provide input for project evaluation.
• Receive and register lessons learned for practical operations.
• Prepare, improve and share in-house developed tools and spreadsheets.
• Assist with supporting documents (calculations, drawings, class documentation) for involved departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Job description

To ensure engineering work is being completed efficiently, with high quality and in time in order to take care of a safe execution and a satisfied customer.

Key responsibilities

Prepare documents for execution of projects independently (e.g., (transport) manuals, calculations, task risk analysis, drawings) and assist with client and MWS interface.

In case required support the execution of projects on site.

Report and keep track on project status, ensuring accurate time registration of change hours and scope variations.

Provide input in favor of a project evaluation.

Receive feedback on practicality of the operations and in case required register the lessons learned.

Prepare, improve, and share in-house developed tools and spreadsheets.

Assist on supporting documents (calculations, drawings, class documentation) for the involved departments.

Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by manager or supervisor.
