English 1 Indonesia is seeking a Progress Advisor to support student success and strengthen relationships with parents, driving course renewals and referrals through transparent communication of student progress and timely issue resolution.
You will report to the Center Director and collaborate with fellow Progress Advisors, the Director of Studies, and Course Consultants to cover communication, relationship management, problem solving, and sales administration in a welcoming learning community.

Progress Advisors (PAs) play a vital role in supporting student success and strengthening customer relationships at English 1. They must have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. PAs are responsible for driving course renewals and generating referrals by building trust with parents, communicating student progress in a timely and effective manner, and addressing concerns as they arise.
An English 1 center is more than just a school it's a learning community. PAs help nurture this environment by encouraging student commitment, supporting engagement with learning goals, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere.
The role will report to the Center Director and will have strong communication lines with:
Fellow Progress Advisors
Director of Studies
Course Consultants
Responsibilities are summarized in four (4) main groups: parent communication, sales, administration, and academic.
Deliver timely updates on learning progress and proactively initiate check-ins to maintain transparency
Provide parents with the latest information about the course when needed (e.g., lessons discussed in class, practice work, test results, etc.)
Use clear and respectful language to explain learning goals, academic progress, and center policies
Invite parents and prepare, facilitate, participate, and organize events related to parents in accordance with our communication system
Provide timely information to parents about any changes related to the study (e.g., teachers, schedule)
Gather input from parents about past events and experiences with English 1 in general
Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with students and their families
Promote a sense of community by ensuring parents feel welcome, heard and valued
Support student motivation and accountability by encouraging consistent study habits and recognizing their achievements
Internal collaboration with other departments in the center
Identify and address customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally
Collaborate with teachers and other team members to resolve issues related to student engagement, scheduling, or satisfaction
Monitor progress data and flag early indicators of disengagement or dissatisfaction for intervention
Analyze problems and identify underlying causes
Drive course renewals through personalized service and progress-based conversations
Encourage referrals by delivering a high-quality customer experience and fostering trust
Confidently communicate the value of English 1's programs to support retention and growth
Reactivate students who have dropped out and follow up on the reasons for refunds
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Time management skills, able to set priorities, and complete tasks on time with high quality

Natural problem solvers, able to prioritize customers, find and provide solutions to customers' problems in their best interests while adhering to English 1's rules and values
Strong salespeople, able to quickly understand company products and knowledge, and effectively present English 1 schools and products to customers
Good English language skills, minimum B1 for oral and written
Bachelor's Degree
