Job summary

AIA Indonesia is seeking a Program Management - Leader Development to drive the end-to-end agent career pathway, from onboarding through top producer and leader development. You will build a sustainable leadership pipeline for Agency Distribution and partner with stakeholders to accelerate future leaders.

Qualifications

• Min. bachelor's degree from any major.
• At least 5 years in strategy, business planning, program management or related fields.
• Experience in management consulting is a plus.
• Experience in insurance/financial services is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership and coaching capabilities with a passion for development.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Design comprehensive leader development ecosystem with training, coaching, mentoring, recognition, contests, and career development programs.
• Partner with field leaders, HoRs, ABDPs, Training, Agency Marketing and other stakeholders to drive adoption of development initiatives.
• Establish clear career pathways, milestone requirements, and development roadmaps for producers to leaders.
• Build a holistic leader development ecosystem through training, coaching, mentoring, leader communities, contests and events.
• Identify high-potential agents and create targeted acceleration programs for leadership readiness.
• Analyze leadership development data and feedback to continuously improve programs and policies.

About the Role

As Program Management - Leader Development, you will drive the end-to-end agent career pathway from onboarding through top producer and leader development, ensuring a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline for Agency Distribution. Design and implement a comprehensive leader development ecosystem, including training, coaching, mentoring, recognition, contests, and career development programs to enhance leader quality and success. Partner closely with stakeholders across the agency business to identify, develop, and accelerate future leaders who drive recruitment, productivity, retention, and long-term agency growth.

• Own and continuously enhance the agency leadership development framework, covering the journey from new agent, active producer, aspiring leader, newly promoted leader, and established leader.


• Design and implement leader development strategies, programs, and interventions to increase the quantity, quality, and success rate of newly promoted leaders.


• Establish clear career pathways, milestone requirements, and development roadmaps that help agents progress from producer to successful agency leader.


• Build a holistic leader development ecosystem through training, coaching, mentoring, leader communities, contests, recognition programs, leadership events, and experiential learning initiatives.


• Identify high-potential agents and create targeted acceleration programs to prepare them for leadership responsibilities and career advancement.


• Partner with field leaders, HoRs, ABDPs, Training, Agency Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive adoption and effectiveness of leader development initiatives.


• Analyze leadership development data, field feedback, and industry best practices to continuously improve programs, policies, and development frameworks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Min. bachelor's degree from any major


• Min. 5 years of experience in strategy, business planning, program management, or related fields


• Prior experience in management consulting is an advantage


• Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities with the ability to translate insights into actionable initiatives


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills


• Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities, with a passion for people development and performance improvement.
