Job summary

Diageo Bali is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets are met. You will coach a diverse team, optimize line performance, and implement continuous improvement using standard MAKE and 5S practices.

Based in Bali, you will collaborate with engineers and procurement to drive root-cause analysis, manage change, and sustain Lean methods to deliver world-class output for premium brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering.
• 3+ years in manufacturing with people management experience.
• Knowledge of 5S, setup time reduction, and maintenance concepts.

About This Role

Operate Lead and execute production process within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. Full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met. Responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team by building teamwork and relationships in operation area with a psychology safe environment to ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on conducting best practice, create and provide proper procedures that is align with actual practice in shopfloor. Develop team in conducting root cause analysis in reducing or avoiding downtime. Provide and or accommodate coaching, mentoring, and training for the team. Conduct loss and waste analysis to implement continuous improvement, continuous set up time reduction and 5S implementation. Leading by example to responsible on Tier 1 implementation within the site and shift to deliver world class performance in all aspects of Level 1 KPI (Safety, Quality, Service, Cost).

You Will Be Responsible For

• Upholding standards through practices
• Responsible to establish Diageo’s Governance Standards in respective area and implement MAKE codification thoroughly
• Plan, execute and work with cross functions to provide day to day resources to achieve MAKE KPI's.
• Lead and work with cross function the change management processes for MAKE Function.
• Lead 5S implementation to follow 5S standard.
• Prioritize safety by setting high standard in daily operation, conducting risk assessment, reviewing daily Permit to Work and Job Safety Analysis by internal and external workers.
• Problem Solving for Performance
• Respond immediately to issues as they are exposed.
• Coach direct reports to identify areas of under-performance.
• Encourage a breakthrough mind-set to problems faced and empower people to take ownership.
• Managing Change for Continuous Improvement
• Lead and work with cross function for management of change.
• Conduct loss and waste analysis in proper range of time to reduce waste and increase productivity
• Manage setting up time reduction in respective area to increase proper way of working in a more optimized time

The Required Qualifications For This Role Are

• Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering)
• At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing process (preferably in FMCG) with a proven track record in managing people and or small teams and cross functional team working
• Knowledge of manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set up time reduction, reliability centered maintenance.
• Knowledge of Diageo saving and productivity as part of AOP process
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Experience of team coaching for success
• Experience in ISO/HACCP certification
• Knowledge and understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (DMAIC, PDCA)
• Track record of waste and cost saving opportunities
• Track record of good engagement and communication skills
• Proficient in use of standard business (MS Office) and Diageo packages
