Job summary

SCG Indonesia is seeking a Production Engineer to join its manufacturing operations. You will monitor production processes, drive continuous improvement, and support plant teams in achieving operational excellence.

Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams, analyze data to reduce downtime and waste, and participate in lean initiatives across the plant. This role offers growth into senior engineering or operational excellence positions within SCG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering fields.
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related roles; strong internships also considered.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with production systems and improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
• Effective communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations to ensure output meets quality and efficiency targets.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
• Support trials of new materials, methods, or technologies to improve performance.
• Prepare regular reports on production results, losses, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards in all production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
