Job summary

Hendricks Corp Pte Ltd is building an AI engineering team in Jakarta to deliver production AI systems in computer vision and GenAI. This hands-on role requires you to write code, train and deploy models, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with Singapore-based leaders.

You will contribute to live deployments across enterprise clients, solving production challenges and enabling scalable AI pipelines in cloud, on-premise, and edge environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems.
• Strong Python and working proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong Computer Vision experience (OpenCV, YOLO or similar).
• Experience deploying production AI systems using Docker, APIs and basic MLOps practices.
• Practical experience with GenAI/LLMs, including LLM APIs, vector databases, RAG or agent frameworks.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-ready computer vision and AI systems.
• Develop object detection, tracking, recognition and video analytics pipelines.
• Build and optimise data pipelines for large-scale image and video datasets.
• Integrate GenAI and LLM technologies including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Deploy AI models to cloud, on-premise and edge environments.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across models, pipelines and integrations.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Work closely with engineering teams in Singapore, Jakarta and Bangalore.
• Document architecture and engineering decisions.
• Stay current with advances in Computer Vision and GenAI, bringing practical improvements into production.
