Job summary

Himalaya Everest Jaya is seeking a field-based Product Support specialist in Jakarta to provide technical consultation, inspect installations, and troubleshoot inverters, PLC systems, and related equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 2–3 years of product support experience, and willingness to travel across assigned areas; motorcycle license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in product support for electrical products.
• Familiar with inverters, VFDs, PLCs and industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and explain product operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices to customers.
• Conduct customer site visits to inspect, evaluate, troubleshoot, and support industrial products including inverters, PLC systems, and related equipment.
• Configure and provide technical support for inverter and PLC applications based on customer requirements.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection findings, and technical documentation regularly.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding spare parts, warranty, service schedules, and technical issues.
• Deliver after-sales technical support to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Job description

Provide technical consultation and explain product operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices to customers.

Conduct customer site visits to inspect, evaluate, troubleshoot, and support industrial products including inverters, PLC systems, and related equipment.

Configure and provide technical support for inverter and PLC applications based on customer operational requirements.

Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection findings, and technical documentation regularly.

Coordinate with internal teams regarding spare parts requirements, warranty support, service schedules, and technical issues.

Deliver after‑sales technical support to ensure product reliability, customer satisfaction, and long‑term product performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Product Support in handling electrical product

Good understanding of at least one of the following areas: inverters / Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) & PLC and Industrial Automation Systems

Familiar with troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Able to read electrical drawings, technical manuals, and control schematics.

Willing to work in a mobile role and perform customer visits across assigned areas.

Own a motorcycle, able to ride, and possess a valid motorcycle driving license (SIM C).

Experienced in preparing service reports and maintenance documentation.

Demonstrate good discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and professional attitude.
