Job summary

PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking a middle-level Product Owner for our Banking/Financial Services projects in Indonesia.

You will define the product vision, manage the backlog, and translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, collaborating with Scrum Master, developers, QA, UI/UX, and stakeholders. You will lead agile ceremonies, ensure clear requirements for sprints, evaluate features, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers throughout the product

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar in Banking/Financial Services
• Strong experience in Agile Project Management and Agile product development
• Proven hands‑on experience with Scrum/Agile methodology
• Strong understanding of product vision, roadmap, backlog management and stakeholder management
• Experience in creating and managing Product Backlog, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Definition of Done
• Strong experience in Backlog Grooming/Refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Retrospective

Job description

This is a middle-level Product Owner position in Banking / Financial Services. You will define and communicate product vision, objectives, and roadmap, manage and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value and customer requirements, and create and maintain User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Product Requirements. You will work closely with Scrum Master, Developers, QA, UI/UX, Business, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Define and communicate product vision, objectives, and roadmap

Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value and customer requirements

Create and maintain User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Product Requirements

Work closely with Scrum Master, Developers, QA, UI/UX, Business, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle

Lead and participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospective

Ensure development teams have clear and well-defined requirements before sprint execution

Evaluate delivered features and ensure they meet agreed business and acceptance criteria

Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements

Monitor product/project progress and identify potential risks, dependencies, and blockers

Ensure product development aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and banking requirements

About you

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in Banking / Financial Services

Strong experience in Agile Project Management and Agile product development

Proven hands‑on experience working with Scrum / Agile methodology

Strong understanding of the Product Owner role, including product vision, roadmap, backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder management

Experienced in creating and managing Product Backlog, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Definition of Done

Strong experience in Backlog Grooming / Refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective

Able to translate business requirements into clear user stories and functional requirements for development teams

Experienced in prioritizing requirements based on business value, customer needs, risk, and technical feasibility

Strong experience collaborating with Business, IT, Developers, QA, UI/UX, and other stakeholders

Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes
