Job summary

Traveloka is seeking a technical product manager to collaborate with engineering teams in Jakarta, translating complex API requirements into high-quality deliverables. You will own API connectivity, monitor KPIs, and balance technical debt with new features to ensure flight system reliability.

The role requires 3-6 years in technical product management, proficiency with XML/JSON debugging, and strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in technical product management or a similar engineering-heavy role.
• Hands-on experience in debugging XML/JSON transactions and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs. Familiarity with the Flight API ecosystem (GDS, NDC, PSS) is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Data-driven decision‑making skills with a focus on optimizing system metrics and performance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

• Act as the subject matter expert for API connectivity, proactively identifying and resolving issues in XML & JSON-based transactions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like API latency and success rates to identify areas for technical improvement.
• Partner with UX/UI designers and data scientists to ensure cohesive product strategies that enhance the end-user experience.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with oversight from senior leadership, ensuring technical debt is balanced with new feature development.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to maintain the high availability of our flight systems.
