Job summary

bizlink group seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee product and engineering activities at the manufacturing facility, ensuring products meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives.

The role leads Product Engineers and Technicians, evaluates suppliers, and supports customers with engineering issues in a fast-paced environment. Indonesian and English communication is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing electronics; experience as Engineering Manager a plus.
• Excellent English and Indonesian communication; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong decision-making and people management skills.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Product Engineer team KPIs and corporate KPIs.
• Evaluate components and materials with suppliers.
• Assist customers with product engineering issues.
• Supervise Product Engineers and Technicians in the department.
• Oversee new project management by Product Engineers.
• Authorize amendments to documentation per customer drawings/specs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior.

Responsible for overseeing and managing overall product and engineering activities within the manufacturing facility while ensuring that products are produced to meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives.

Responsible for overseeing and managing overall product and engineering activities within the manufacturing facility while ensuring that products are produced to meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• To manage the overall Product engineer team KPI(s) and corporate KPI(s).
• To be involved in component and material supplier evaluation.
• To assist customers with product engineering issues.
• Supervise the Product Engineers and Technicians of the department to complete their given assignments.
• To supervise Product Engineers in preparing new project management.
• Authorized to amend the documentation information if found incorrect from the customer drawing /specification.
• Any other duties as requested by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• At least 5 or 10 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, if experience as a Product Engineer Manager is a Plus!
• At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing electronics company, especially in wire harness.
• Excellent verbal, reading, and written communication skills in Indonesian and English language, Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong decision-making and people management skills
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
