Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and issuing RFPs and analyze supplier responses.
• Support evaluation/selection processes and document key findings.
• Research potential suppliers and screen for fit and value.
• Facilitate onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance against metrics and suggest improvements.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and drive collaboration.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through category management.
• Conduct market research and benchmark pricing with industry trends.
• Maintain unit rate models to inform sourcing decisions and negotiations.
• Support contract management and renewal tracking.
• Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations; prepare summaries.

Your Main Duties In Flying With Us

• Assist in the development and issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)


• Analyze supplier responses, comparing pricing, terms, and capabilities


• Support the evaluation and selection process, documenting key findings and recommendations


• Conduct initial research and screening of potential suppliers


• Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring all documentation and requirements are met


• Performance Evaluation: Track supplier performance against key metrics (e.g., quality, delivery, cost) and identify areas for improvement


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and open communication


• Identify potential cost efficiency through category management and other strategic initiative


• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers, analyze industry trends, and benchmark pricing


• Develop and maintain accurate unit rate models to inform sourcing decisions and negotiate favorable terms


• Support the implementation of digital tools and technologies to streamline procurement processes and enhance data-driven decision-making


• Assist with contract management, including reviewing terms and conditions, tracking renewals, and ensuring compliance


• Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations


• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations


• Assist with other procurement-related tasks as needed
