Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering majors or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, contracting and procurement.
  • Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, tender evaluation, supplier relationship management and contract management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with urgency, accountability and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English both written and speaking and able to communicate in business language.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Apply best practices in Contract & Procurement with focus on HSSE, Ethics & Compliance, Code of Conduct, Laws and regulations.
  • Identify needs, qualify suppliers, request proposals, negotiate, contract, deliver and analyze results.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to assess potential suppliers and ensure fair bidding processes.
  • Perform financial and commercial analysis of bids to ensure alignment with specs, budgets, and goals.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Handle procurement support including vendor data administration, invoices and payments.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to shift recurring spot buys into strategic sourcing or contracts.
  • Maintain reliable supplier base and address delivery, quality, and service issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements via contract KPIs.

Procurement Operations Analyst (Talent Pool)

ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Spot Buy Analyst to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contracting and procurement processes, contract negotiation, tender evaluation while staying compliant with procurement policies.


This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, capable of executing timely, compliant, and cost-effective purchases while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, managing supplier relationships with accountability, and proactively driving continuous process improvements.


ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Apply the Contract & Procurement best practices while focusing on contribution to the business drivers and not compromising on compliance for HSSE, Ethics & Compliance, Code of Conduct, Laws, and regulations.
  • Conduct identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess potential suppliers and ensure transparent, fair, and competitive bidding processes.
  • Perform comprehensive financial and commercial analysis of bids to ensure alignment with technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and strategic goals.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform various procurement and support functions including vendor data administration as well as invoice and payment processing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to identify possibility to shift recurring spot buys into strategic sourcing or contracts.
  • Develop and manage a reliable supplier base, ensuring compliance with company standards and resolving delivery, quality, and service issues
  • Manage Supplier Relationship effectively and collaboratively drive continuous performance improvement via relevant contract key metrics (EG: HSSE, Operations, Cost, etc).
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from contractual obligations or service level agreements.
