Job summary

PT MAP AKTIF ADIPERKASA is seeking a procurement specialist in Jakarta to identify and compare vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and place POs for marketing materials. The role requires strong SAP experience and at least three years in procurement.

The candidate should be fluent in English and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Jakarta and reports to the Purchasing Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics/Accountancy/Management/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years of experience in Procurement or related role.
• Hands-on experience in procuring marketing materials (packaging, printing, POSM, posters, banners, etc.).
• Familiar with SAP and end-to-end procurement processes.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Identify and search a minimum of 3 potential vendors to compare and negotiate for lowest price with best quality.
• Place Purchase Order (PO) with approved price and materials; ensure items conform to company standards.
• Monitor payment progress and delivery to ensure on-time receipt with correct specifications.
• Prepare cost-saving reports from negotiations and procurement activities for the team.

Job description

Identify and search a minimum of 3 potential vendors to be compared and negotiated in order to get the lowest price yet best quality.

Place Purchase Order (PO) with approved price and materials; ensure all purchased items are produced in accordance with company standards.

Monitor payment progress and item delivery to ensure all users get the items on time with the right specifications.

Prepare cost-saving reports based on negotiation, price request report, and purchasing report to allow the procurement team to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Accountancy/Management/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Min. 3 years of experience in Procurement or related role.

A MUST Hands-on experience in procuring marketing materials, including packaging, printing materials, point-of-sale materials (POSM), promotional items, posters, banners, and other marketing-related purchases.

Familiar with SAP , good understanding of managing the end-to-end process.

Proficient in English, both oral and written.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptive to change.
